When and where is badge pick-up?

Please pick-up your badge at the Registration desk in the Teak Room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Attendee Registration will be open the following times:

  • Friday, October 19th, 2018 - 8am - 6pm

  • Saturday, October 20th, 2018 - 8am - 2pm

Your driver’s license will be needed. Registrations are non-transferable and only the registered attendee can pick up their badge.

Do i need my badge?

Your badge is your Pass for Pixel Photo Fest and directly tied in with your registration. So, hold on tight to your badge and please wear it all times during Pixel Photo Fest. You'll need it to access the classes, photowalks, trade-show, lunches and more. If you lose your badge, there is a fee of $50 for the replacement badge. Stop by the main registration area for assistance.

Where will Pixel Connection and Partner Brands be setup?

We will have a trade show set up for the entire weekend in the Teak room. Here, you can talk with our vendors and Pixel Connection will have a choice selection of stock available for purchase.

Can I borrow equipment? For FREE?

Absolutely! See our partners at the trade show for lenses and other equipment that they will let you borrow, and YES! For FREE!

Absolutely not. Come one, come all. That’s our motto. We all start somewhere, and you will find that Pixel Photo Fest attendees are open and willing to help; our instructors know how to teach to every level of student.Absolutely not. Come one, come all. Is there a certain skill level I should be?

Can I switch my classes around?

Maybe. Probably. Please see a Team Pixel member to check availability and switch your classes. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but until revised, please do not go to a class you are not registered for. It simply isn’t fair to other students if their class is abnormally large.

Is there an extra fee for any courses?

NOPE! Another amazingly unique feature of Pixel Photo Fest. No hidden fees. You have access to all courses.

I’m hungry. I’m thirsty. Where do I go?

Lunches will be provided as designated on the schedule. Additionally, there will be a drink station set up at each class location that will be accessible during the workshops.

What can we do after the sessions on Friday & Saturday?

We will all gather at bar area. This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow Pixel Photo Fest attendees and instructors, have a couple drinks and unwind.

Will I be able to use images in my portfolio? Will I be able to use images in my portfolio?

Of course you will! We have heard horror stories of other conferences placing limitations on how the photos can be used, forcing you to use the conference logo, etc. We find that to be ridiculous. All models have signed a model release form giving you the ability to use your images in your portfolio, website, social media, etc. The release allows the photographer to use the images for promotional and portfolio use, but not for sale.

Where else can I share my images?

If you want to share your images and see what others have capture at Pixel Photo Fest, feel free to share your images to our Facebook and Instagram pages. We love to see the event from your eyes!
